For nearly two years, I've been hosting a bi-monthly radio show as DJ Spamfilter on THF Radio, titled “Chemical Weather Report w/DJ Spamfilter”.
The decision to host my own show, rather than solely assisting behind the scenes at THF Radio, was driven by the desire to challenge myself in areas where I encountered resistance (such as speaking into the microphone), to gain insight into broadcasting, and to share music that resonated with my current emotional state during the broadcasts. The show concept involved embracing vulnerability on air and 'learning by doing', offering an inner “chemical weather report” while embarking on an inspiring musical journey that mirrored my ongoing emotional landscape. Recognizing the potential solitude of hosting a solo show, I also welcomed various friends to join me whenever I felt the urge to extend the airtime.
